To reach your goals requires effort and work and sacrifice. You must go through it. All worthy goals have processes that you have to complete. Some goals have a difficult process and some goals have an easy process either way you have to complete the steps to obtain your goal whatever the path just “‘Go through it”.
See the other side
When you start something significant you have to form the whole image of what good success looks like. Make mental pictures and post a few physical one also. Write down the goal and write what it looks like. If your goal is to be a public speaker, do you speak to intimate business groups or do you see yourself filling arenas for Christians? Be specific how you see yourself and your goals.
Understand the Benefits
There are benefits to making the decision to “Go through it”. The most obvious benefit is the experience. Every journey has a life lesson that comes with the territory. Early in the process you have to focus on the intrinsic value of what you feel and learn. If you have a weight loss goal one of the benefits of “Going through it” is that you gain the badge of consistency. THis benefit of consistency becomes a tool that will help you accomplish anything. Open your mind when the process is foggy because in that moment you are the co-creator and quite possibly a new process is born. Achievers understand the benefits of “Going through it” and embrace so they can repeat them in their next level of success.
Make your calling sure
2 Peter 1:10 (KJV)
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall
Once you decide to do something good then follow through until completion. Make sure of your calling. No one likes a “Waffler” and life does not reward fluctuating behavior. Creators and innovators have moment where nothing looks right and it seems like they can not make weeds grow. These are the times to encourage yourself and “Go through it”. Difficult part is getting and not knowing the end results. When you are sure of your goals and dreams you are willing to “Go through it”.
1 Corinthians 7:20 (KJV)
20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
