Pressure Bust Pipes

Poem

God will not put more on you

than you can bear

I didn’t know I was this strong

Didn’t know that I could stand this long.

Didn’t believe I could take so many punches

didn’t know trouble came in bunches.

my shoulders are broad

My chest is strong

but how much more and for how long?

Pressure bust pies, Watch mine swell

Pressure bust pipes, now what’s that smell.

It’s not me I know how to weld

God has workmen that are not for sell

Can these arms hold weight made for a crane?

Can these feet stop the speeding train?

That mountain has been spoken to

it still has not moved

Pressure bust pipes, don’t you like the action

Didn’t know life came with adverse traction

Going back…    to move forward just like the plunger

makes no sense to add more pressure to a clogged system.

If this is what I can bear than bring it on

my previous record is no wall, but gone.

Dislocated shoulder lots of back pain

one more push-up, so the kingdom can gain

Pressure bust pipes, I am starting to like what it has done

Making me focus on who is number one

Maybe He allowed it, or just knew

But what He put on, came out of the blue.

No complaints because His sovereignty is Supreme

Pressure Bust Pipes

too bad…

I’m a King.

Stress Your Mountain

Put pressure on your prayer

Life puts pressure on you that feels like a Mountain. You have to determine to stress the mountain of pressure if you want it to crumble. Without putting pressure on the mountain it will not be removed from you.

There are many situations that put stress on us. We believe these problems are insurmountable. Since God does not put more on us than we can bear. There has to be a way to remove and handle these seemingly unmovable challenges.

Speak the Word

The word of God is powerful to the pulling down of strongholds(2 Cor. 10v4). Therefore we must speak directly to the problem. Do not be afraid to put stress on the actual problem.

 Pray earnestly

The prayers of the righteous man available much(James 5v16). Pray to God that He helps you see the true underlying core root of the problem. Pray to God for a peaceful solution. Be thankful to God that He reveals your position in the fight. Pray that you have the strength to do the instructions that come from prayer.

Call a fast

Some things are only removed by prayer and supplication(fasting)(Mark 9 v 28-29). Calling a fast removes an object or action that is special to you. It may be possible that you have made this thing a God or idol in your life. And every time this thing comes in your mind, sacrifice it to the Lord, letting Him know that you are serious about putting stress on your mountain

Your faith makes you whole. (Luke 8 v 48) With the proper Word(scriptures), prayer and fasting the mountain will have significant stress. With patience the stress fractures in the mountain will cause it to be removed from you. The last step is to believe in your heart that these things are so.
Stress your mountain and your stress will be relieved. Stress your mountain and it will be removed from you. Be patient while you are dominating your mountain.

Patience notices opportunity not dissapointment

Set of stamps

Opportunity comes in many forms. After a disappointing event it is the Spirit of Patience that carries you into the next chapter. Patience gets excited for the opportunity to learn and capitalizes on the wisdom from recent adventures. The alternative is to allow fear and doubt to creep in and belittle any progress that you made. Patience deals with problems from the place of victory.  You are Victorious (Channeling the Donnie Mcclercan song). You have the victory, so it is up to you to walk it out.

Disappointment is an emotion while patience is an emotion trainer. What can disappointment produce that will propel you forward? Patience makes you think about what you are feeling. Then you can develop or formulate your response. If you only respond in your prescribed fashion. Disappointment can not get hold of you.  Look for the opportunity to succeed when the world sees disappointment.

It’s time!!!

If you look for an opportunity to train yourself, your staff or your children instead of seeing disappointment then “No weapon formed against you shall prosper”.  Trails and the temptation to negatively react will happen and that’s when your patience will aide you most. The more personal the event the more difficult it is to apply patience. But know that God is in control and you will not even consider being irrational. Make small steps to look  for opportunities and disappointment will soon fade away.

The Definition of Patience to Dominate

Man on top of mountain

Increasing ones capacity for calm, admirable endurance of a trying situation, circumstance or person, this comes out of understanding, mastery or control of oneself and the knowledge that the Creator has supreme determining or guiding influence over all.

The Patience to Dominate

How to Make it Happen

Making it happen is only hard in your mind. Getting things going in the right direction starts with the “I can do mindset” . When you feel like no one else is there and you “gotta” make it happen apply these 3 principles.

Encourage yourself

This seems simple but to encourage yourself you cannot mumble. You need audible encouragement. Write down what you want to say to yourself.  I.E… ( I will publish my e-book before Christmas). Stop reading right now and write 3 encouragements for yourself. Talk good to yourself because the situation is already speaking negatively.

I will be mentally and physically strong.

I can achieve my goals in life.

I will stay ahead.

I won’t slack on little task I need to accomplish.

I will write down my goals and stick to them.

It is about God – not me

10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NKJV)

Walk by Faith

“We walk by Faith and not by sight “ Talk to God first about everything. Once you set some goals and practice encouraging yourself then get out of your comfort zone and make it happen with positive action. Every step is important. Do not get too happy with a little good work, keep walking out your dreams. Faith does not always see what is next but it definitely sees what the end result will be.

One interview is a stepping out on Faith, 20 interviews is walking by Faith

One sales call is encouraging, 20 sales calls is walking by Faith

Sitting at home praying demonstrates Faith in God. Praying while you are on the way to get what you deserve shows faith in action on this earth.

I shall put myself in unknown conditions in order to achieve what I need.

I will push myself to the limit and then go even further.

Instead of accomplishing 3 goals, I will accomplish 5 and then work ahead some more.

Instead of working to a stopping point, I will make it to a new beginning.

If it is to be it is up to me

I have used this statement before because it is one of the encouragements that I SHOUT when it seems that no one wants to help me. Generally the truth is, “No one wants to help me in the manner I want to receive the help.”

It is hard to help someone that does not want to help themselves. God will get it done with or without you.  You get more out of it if you let Him lead you.  So stand up and SHOUT ” If it is to be it is up to me.”

Theses are some things that are constructive to say. Within myself I will work until I cannot anymore, then once I have my strength back I will go and do it again.  I will not stop until it is set to where if I work or not it won’t even matter.

I am going to stop procrastinating and get it done.

I will stay focused and follow through.

When I write out my goals and I will not tweak them to make it easier for me.

Please Remember:

YOU have to get up and help yourself

You have to stop blaming the world for your problems

YOU have to put yourself in a better position

You have to stop looking for the easy way out

YOU have to stand up to the issues and overcome them

YOU have to Make it Happen

My question to you is…

What are you going to do to Make it Happen?

How to do a lot of things at one time

info@mikolji.comWrite it all down
Write all of your project and to-do things down on paper. I say this over and over and over again. Electronic notation in your phone or on your pad is fine also but set frequent reminders. Even set a reminder to review your list. Write down small things in a consistent visible place and you will have a better chance of completing them. If your list are large it is okay because at least you will not forget anything. Write down the major and the insignificant because the insignificant will cloud your brain at the most inopportune time. Remember to keep a consistent place for you list: sticky notes and little pieces of paper get lost. Finally, date all of your list.
Attack the hard stuff first
This is difficult to me because I like volume. I always try to do a lot of projects at the same time. So sometimes I will do the little things to prepare for the big thing. And what always happens is the big thing gets pushed to the next day. Do not procrastinate, Procrastination leads to bad karma. Sometimes the hard stuff needs a list of its own. This is quite aright and possibly preferable because another list will cause you to do it right. The premise of this step is to attack the hard stuff, do not wade in gently: you may get cold feet.
Let nothing wait
Are you ready to dominate, than stop waiting? Sure patience is a virtue but writing an action list requires action. Keep moving forward. Do not be proud of your to-do list, be proud of the action it inspired. Phone calls are the easiest, just take the first hour of the day and call everyone including the people that you know will not answer early. This will promote proactive action and most people will feel obligated to talk with you the second time around. Patience takes action and waiting takes time. Don’t waste time.

Are you conscious of His favor?

Raise your consciousness and increase your joy. We are responsible for our joy. Knowing where joy comes from and how to keep it is explained in this Psalm.
Psalm 97:11
Amplified Bible (AMP)
11 Light is sown for the [uncompromisingly] righteous and strewn along their pathway, and joy for the upright in heart [the irrepressible joy which comes from consciousness of His favor and protection].
This one passage by itself encompasses a lifetime of wisdom. It shows God’s preparation for you and me. It states that, “light is sown”, this means it was plant or created for the righteous. And then it is thrown along our pathway. So even when we are in a place of darkness God shines light on us. Those with an upright heart receive joy along the path.

The type of joy we receive is “IRREPRESSIBLE” (it cannot be pushed down). There is nothing or no one that can steal your joy. This joy comes from you and I being conscious or fixing our mind on God’s favor and protection. All paths in life have darkness but, with the right mind set we can live every day in His glorious light.

My daughter wrote this:

Be delighted with yourself. You have to have an upright or a happy spirit for God to give you gladness.

Patience requires obedience

Chri.ChabotThis is an excerpt from a Course I am developing for Patient Leadership. The relationship between the path to patience and obedience takes a concentrated effort. The following principles shed light on what it means to have obedience in the world of Patient Leadership.

• To obey is better than sacrifice
• Obey your conscience
• Stick to your written goals even when large obstacles arise

The Creator puts parameters around to remind us of the need for obedience. As we mature we believe that we do not have to obey anyone. We proclaim that we have no master and our decisions are self-determined. One universal reminder is the demand of obedience to our bodies. These fleshly creations quickly let us know the limits and needs that must be obeyed. It takes patience to operate your body through proper rest, diet and meaningful exercise. This type of obedience must be demonstrated in our lives relative to acquiring The Patience to Dominate.

2 Corinthians 10:5-6
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

We must obey the code of conduct that shrouds our conscience. Obstacles may arise that will skew our actions away from set desires. The closer you are to fulfilling your destiny requires more obedience. Obedience is controlled restriction, sacrifice is forced removal. It is better to obey than to sacrifice.

Written goals are a part of obedience because life has an interesting way of adding distractions that function as masters. We must obey the goals we set so that the true call on our lives will manifest. We must obey the individual moral rules we set for ourselves. Trust yourself, trust what you have written and trust the Father.

Master your distractions.
If patience is our goal, obedience is our guide.

1 Samuel 15: 22
Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice

Is your life governed by obedience or sacrifice?

First Lady Michelle Obama: Moving Forward…with patience and wisdom

Our First Lady Michelle Obama delivered a wonderfully moving personal message in which she named patience and wisdom as core values for success. To be
specific she was referring to the character and Patient Leadership and Clear Vision of her husband President Barack Obama. I believe she was also calling on the character of our entire nation. In the short excerpt below there are numerous keys like “Barack never lets himself get distracted by the chatter and the noise” that demonstrate what it takes to have success in life.

Here’s a link of some speech highlights.

And I love that even in the toughest moments, when we’re all sweating it – when we’re worried that the bill won’t pass, and it seems like all is lost – Barack never lets himself get distracted by the chatter and the noise.

Just like his grandmother, he just keeps getting up and moving forward…with patience and wisdom, and courage and grace.

And he reminds me that we are playing a long game here…and that change is hard, and change is slow, and it never happens all at once.
But eventually we get there, we always do.

She adds to the core values, “courage and grace”, these traits of Patient Leadership are the part that make it look easy. Like politics, in life we are “playing a long game” and by remembering this we can keep your heart rate low and reduce stress over small issues. The United States of America is stronger now than it was four years because of people like the Obama’s and those that lead before them. I am stronger now because have more time to spend with my wife and children.

I am grateful to the Father for this time to bond with my family it has blessed me in areas that a booming personal economy can not provide. In 2 Peter 1:5-7 the Bible says

5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

All of these character traits point to Patient Leadership and make us better all around. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are an American success story and now we see at the heart of this success is patience and wisdom.

I know if you add “patience and wisdom and courage and grace to” to your endeavours will you have an abundantly fruitful life in four more years?

Smart goals promote Clear Vision

http://www.flickr.com/photos/angietorres/Clear Vision and Smart Goals are paramount to cultivating Patient Leadership. Why practice goal setting if you are not going to use them. This is an argument of the person stuck in procrastination. There are three reasons to set goals even if you never strike out and accomplish them.

1. At least you have a clear vision

When you talk with many people they have fuzzy vision but, smart goals elevate you to clear vision status. With a clear vision statement those around you will have a chance to help you grow. We must use the brain trust that God makes available to us before more will be added. I wrote about creative vision in a previous article about Martin Scorsese.

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he

Proverbs 29:18

2. Smart Goals inspire others

Some of your goals are simply to inspire others to change their unconscious mind. They inspire others to create their own clear vision statement. In many cases those around you look to you for Patient Leadership.

3. Writing smart goals removes doubt

When you are ready, you do not have to take the time to write your goals. This slows procrastination and increases success rates. Procrastination arises with doubt and fear. Planning combats fear and promotes peak performance.

How have you used Patient Leadership to promote your vision statement?
