Big Results in small steps

Confidence can be added through small successful steps. Progress of any kind extends your patience. All marathons began with one step forward. Some dreams are lofty but with a good plan and a lot of small steps you can reach the apex. Humans constantly search for the fast immediate cure to appear but leave off the fact that most significant contributions need lots of patient processes. Beauty in the journey becomes evident when you pay attention to the details. Details like going to obscure gatherings that will educate you on how to perfect your craft. Details shore up cracks in your thinking that could side track momentum. It takes a calm mind to enjoy the miniscule thoughts and pleasures knowing that all things benefit greater goals. One solid way to add confidence is to improve responses to nagging issues. Your response determines your character. Daily monitor physical and oral responses because these are little actions that promote big feelings. Change habits to mimic who you want to become. If your desires are royal then your habits should reflect this. There are no vacations from improvements. Once a goal or dream is achieved immediate recalculation is necessary. Slipping back into old habits or thought processes can make victories fleeting. Enjoy the progress and add more expectations. There is no limit, one step at a time.

Planning is weaving a pattern

While waiting patiently, you are putting together or twisting or weaving a pattern

Part of this statement comes from the definition of patience and the rest is derived from thoughtful human observance. Waiting indicates that all action necessary to finish is accomplished. Conversely, patiently waiting means that you are working on a plan and actively seeking an opportunity to continue on your path to success. All people are waiting for something good to happen, but genuinely successful people and organizations diagram a plan and seek an occasion to execute their visions.

The current mindset in our society is to get your project done right now. If we are hungry, we want fast food now. If we want to talk to some one, we pick up the phone now. If there is a crisis, we want it fixed now. All of this sounds good, and has a lot to do with the rapid advancement of the human race. Whether we realize it or not, patience and planning are fundamental to creating lasting results (even with extraordinary talent). When we are ready to dominate areas of our lives and wish for a peaceful ascension, the good book gives us a different way to plan our success.

Leave a note on how you are weaving a pattern and why.

Occupy until I come

What are you going to do when you can fly?

Patient Ability – Occupy until I come

“Patient Ability – Occupy until I come” , this is an excerpt from my forthcoming book and is relevant with the events happening throughout the world as people escalate the movement started with “Occupy Wall Street”.

The statement, “Occupy until I come,” is taken directly from the bible. The quote from Luke 19, verse 12 and 13, is “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.” Patient ability describes what to do while obtaining patience. This chapter gives examples of human nature while pursuing dominance. The entire passage from Luke is used to demonstrate the rewards of occupying (performing transactions repeatedly) while gaining Patient Ability.

This principle contains examples and vivid illustrations of patience. Most motivational books are “rah-rah” cheering books; there are certain aspects of upbeat encouragement throughout this principle. The main premise of Patient Ability is to demonstrate that in any worthwhile journey, there are aspects of continued endurance that propel you to success. This principle gives practical advice for lasting victory. Separate phases are outlined for gaining ability while building a crescendo to dominating life.

Patient Ability is the principle in which we must take a self test and determine our valuable attributes. One must honestly dig deep into what makes himself tick. This is the point where we take off the gloves. You must pull back the veil. There are plenty of things you may be good at doing; however, in order to reach your ultimate goals, you must uncover your true, great talent and develop it. You must determine your limitations so that true progress can be achieved. We all want to hunt; however, knowing how to gather is a very important aspect of increasing your ability. The real impact makers know how to gather people, resources, and energy. What should you do while being patient? What result do you want from your organized actions?

Personal Steps to Obtain Escape Momentum

The phrase “escape momentum” was used in reference to homeless veterans. There was a show on television where the director had a program that temporarily housed the veterans and fed them and motivated them. The program even assisted some people in starting over. The commentator asked what about the others that did not receive long-term help. The director said “we just hope this program gives them enough escape momentum.”

When I heard this statement it grabbed me and struck a nerve deep within my soul. There are so many challenges that can hamper a person’s rise out of bad situations, that you need specific directional propulsion to escape. There were some situations in my life that were a bit stifling. The momentum to escape was elusive and it seemed as if I was never going to escape. The old “Debbie Downer” Attitude of one step forward and two steps back.

To really manufacture a valid escape two steps forward and one step back is not enough. A series of positive steps effect lasting change. So as I pondered my life and its shortcomings I thought that there are some steps that can be engineered to produce consistent results.

1. Lighten your load
2. Have an achievable plan
3. Live your plan
4. Have relentless faith

Step 1. Lighten your load

First mentally lighten your load. Clear your mind from the baggage of your past. Address any challenges or faults that will restrain your forward progress. The process of clearing the mind is similar to clearing mines in a battlefield; take care so that the things that you extract do not explode. Delicately remove some people and situations and consistently extract all other negative aspects of how you operate. Consistency builds confidence and makes your goals seem attainable. The thoughts of failure, your former mistakes and character flaws can hamper your ascension to greatness. It is helpful to only remember the former things in regards to your original dreams and aspirations.

Step 2. Have an achievable plan

Achievable plans can be lofty
• To write and publish a book
• Educate all the orphans in your area
• To be a professional singer
• To be a CEO of a major company
• To loose 100 pounds
• Debt freedom and financially independent in 5 years

Achievable plans are not always small. Large achievable plans are exciting because they involve more than one person. The others that help you with your plan will benefit from your vision. Large plans are fine if they are realistic. If you are forty it is not realistic to be Ms. America. But they do have pageants that are age appropriate. Write these goals and prominently display them. It is a good idea to share with at least one confidante the details of your plans, this will hold you accountable. For a while your one friend that believes in you may be God. So none of us are alone as long as we have and plan and a loving forgiving God.

Step 3. Live your plan

The difference in the statements, work your plan and live your plan are subtle yet monumental. To work your escape plan you means you occasionally think about it when there is time between living your life and every day happenings. Any thing that we work on is easily set aside. Thoughts of work prompt a sense of duty or forced coercion and the results are incremental and possibly inconsequential. It is good to work your plan but when you live your plan, you wake up in the morning thinking of your plan. At breakfast you read about where you want to go. Your inner circle is almost tired of hearing about your plan. Your dreams consist primarily of ways to execute your plan and the benefits successful completion will afford you. If you have no money you find free activities that prop up your plan. Eventually things will arrive at your doorstep that will promote your plan. To live your plan is to escape before you have actually escaped.

Step 4. Have relentless faith

Relentless faith stands firm in the face of all circumstances. Your current position is in the soup line but you are talking about being an executive chef. While shopping at the plus size store you are planning to buy a bikini and look good next year. All of the people to whom you pitched a plan may respond negatively but none of this is a deterrent. To be relentless is to convert discouragement into encouragement. Your faith will ultimately change your face. Once you lock in your goal hold it until your dying day. You will obtain your personal escape momentum if you have relentless faith.
